Our Rug Pads are specifically designed to be slightly smaller than our Rug Covers (not by more than 4 inches on each side for our largest size). This allows the edges of the Rug Cover to taper to the floor and, if shrinkage occurs, the Rug Pad still remains out of view.
When assembling your Rug System, please ensure the following:
1. Do not tuck the Rug Pad corners into the corner pockets of the Rug Cover. These corners were designed to weigh the rug down and ensure the Rug Cover lays flat on your floor.
2. Ensure the Rug Pad is placed in the center of your Rug Cover. For guidance on where to place the Rug Pad, please check out our Rug Assembly Instructions.
